This comforting Filipino Chinese egg drop soup is made even more special with Alaska Classic Evap!

Ingredients

2 tsp Cooking oil
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 pc Onion, small sliced
1 cup Chicken breast, cooked, sliced in small chunks
1 pc Carrot, small, sliced in sticks
1 pc Red bell pepper, julienned
1/2 cup Baby carrots, sliced in bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup Button mushrooms, slices
2 cups Water or chicken broth
2 cups Pechay wombok, sliced in shreds
1 can Alaska Classic Evaporated Filled Milk 360mL Buy now
4 tbsp Fish sauce
12 pcs Quail eggs, hard boiled
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure

in a soup pot, heat oil and sauté garlic and onions. once cooked and softened, add in the cooked chicken breast chunks. cook until lightly brown. add in the carrots, red bell pepper, baby carrots and mushrooms then cook for about 5 minutes.
pour in the water or broth and bring to a boil. lower the heat and allow to simmer for 10 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked but still with a bite. add in the pechay wombok, alaska classic evaporated filled milk, fish sauce and quail eggs. season with salt and pepper, according to taste. mix the soup one last time, then turn off the heat. serve steaming hot.
