About this recipe

A soup-er scrumptious soup made of squash, cream, and bacon bits. Our Alaska Créma Creamy Squash Soup will surely satisfy your appetite!

Prepare the following

Ingredients

1 tbsp Unsalted butter
1/4 cup Onions, chopped finely
500 grams Squash, cut up
3 cups water
1 pc Bay leaf
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
1/2 cup Alaska Classic Evaporated Filled Milk 360mL Buy now
1 pack Alaska Créma All-Purpose Cream 250mL Buy now

Procedure

melt butter in a saucepan set over medium heat and sauté onions until softened.
add in squash and sauté for 5 minutes. pour in water. add in bay leaf and season to taste with salt and pepper.
bring to a boil then let simmer until squash is cooked through. discard bay leaf then add in alaska classic evaporated filled milk and alaska créma all-purpose cream.
mix well then use a hand blender to puree the soup until smooth and creamy. adjust consistency with a little water if necessary and season to taste with salt and pepper.
