About this recipe

Here's a sweet and chewy treat (or trick) you can do with the kids for Halloween.

Prepare the following

Spatula
Fork
Spoon
Sauce Pan
Tray
Bowl
Wax Paper

Ingredients

2 cups Crispy rice cereal or cocoa puffs
3/4 cup Alaska Classic Sweetened Condensed Filled Milk 377g (290ml) Buy now
250 grams White or dark chocolate, chopped finely

Decorating

250 grams White or dark chocolate, chopped finely

Procedure

Tick the circle to once you're done with the procedure.

in a medium heatproof bowl, place 250g finely chopped white chocolate.
In a small saucepan, add water until it is 2/3 full and bring to boil.
Lower heat to the lowest setting and place the bowl of chocolate over the saucepan.
with a spoon or silicon spatula, stir the chocolate until completely melted.
remove from heat and stir in the alaska sweetened condensed filled milk.
stir in the crisp rice cereal until fully combined.
Using a tablespoon, measure about 1 ½ tablespoons of the cereal mixture and form into little flat ghost shapes.
let them set on a tray lined with wax paper in room temperature until dry and firm.
melt the remaining 250g of white chocolate in a bowl.
using a fork, dip the ghost shapes entirely into the melted chocolate.
Let them set on the wax paper again until it is completely dry.
melt ¼ cup of dark chocolate and place in a ziploc bag.
Cut one corner of the bag to make an open tip and use that to draw faces on the ghosts.
Set aside until chocolate has dried.
(OPTIONAL) You can switch up the chocolates to make dark chocolate ghosts with white chocolate details if you want.
